Selection Process

  • Computer Based Test (Part-I): Consists of two objective-type papers (Paper I & Paper II), carrying a maximum of 250 marks each.
  • Personality Test / Interview (Part-II): Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for an Interview round carrying 100 marks.
  • Document Verification: Scrutiny of original MBBS degree, internship completion, and category certificates.
  • Medical Examination: Final selected candidates must pass a standard medical fitness test conducted by the respective boards.

  1. Visit the official UPSC online application portal: upsconline.nic.in.
  2. If not already registered, complete the One Time Registration (OTR) profile.
  3. Log in using your Registration ID/Email and Password/OTP.
  4. Click on the link for “Combined Medical Services Examination 2026” and fill in the Part-I application form.
  5. Proceed to Part-II: Pay the application fee (if applicable), select your preferred examination center, and upload scanned photographs and signatures.
